Connect a Feishu group bot

Newsday sends your briefing through a Feishu group custom bot. You need a Feishu group and that bot’s Webhook URL.

1. Prepare a group

Open the group where you want to receive news. A dedicated news group keeps test messages out of work conversations.

2. Add a custom bot

In group settings, find Group bots or Bots, add a bot, and select Custom bot. Follow Feishu’s prompts and give it a recognizable name.

3. Copy the Webhook URL

Copy the complete address supplied by Feishu, typically:

This URL is a credential for sending to the group. Do not publish or share it.

4. Connect it in Newsday

1. Sign in and open Dashboard.
2. Choose Connect or replace bot.
3. Select Feishu and paste the complete URL.
4. Select Test and save encrypted.

Newsday sends a test message first. The URL is encrypted and used for delivery only after that succeeds.

Common questions

No test message?

Check that the URL is complete, the bot remains in the group, and the group permits bot messages. Then test again.

Webhook leaked?

Delete or regenerate the bot Webhook in Feishu immediately, then save and test the new address in Newsday.
